Devon Martin RMT
Registered Massage Therapist

Devon has been practicing massage for 6 years. Over that time he has worked alongside various medical practitioners to expand his skill, and knowledge. He has incorporated orthokinetics as well as a mastery of joint mobilizations, and muscle imbalances throughout the body into his practice. With the desire to treat the body, mentally and physically as efficiently as possible there is no short cuts with Devon. Rather than treating just the symptoms, Devon will always look for the root cause of the problems. Effectively releasing muscle imbalances and teaching how to strengthen the body to reduce or rid further discomfort.

Hi! I’m Jacelyn. I recently graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, majoring in Physical Activity and Health. During my studies, I gained valuable experience volunteering in various rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinics, where I developed a passion for helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals. I’m excited to bring my knowledge and enthusiasm to the Jasper Physiotherapy and Health Centre team and to continue learning from both my colleagues and our clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy snowboarding, running, and taking part in local recreational sports. Having grown up in northern Alberta, I’m thrilled to explore everything that Jasper has to offer and give back to my community.

Physiotherapist

My journey began in 2013 when I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, establishing myself as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. To further my knowledge and skills, I completed an additional degree at Mount Royal University in 2014, becoming an Athletic Therapist. In 2021, I returned to the University of Alberta to complete my Master’s in Physiotherapy.

Having navigated the sports world—from elite professionals to passionate amateurs and everyday individuals pursuing varied goals—my unwavering commitment is to provide authentic, process-oriented treatment. Whether your aspirations involve navigating life’s demands pain-free, achieving specific fitness milestones, or simply enjoying daily activities, I am dedicated to being an integral partner in your wellness journey.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I find inspiration in the great outdoors, whether through running, rock/ice climbing, hiking, or ski touring in the mountains. Traversing complex terrain during alpine escapades or pushing my limits in trail ultramarathons, the significance of movement resonates deeply with me.

I firmly believe that physical activity and movement form the cornerstone of a balanced and healthy life. My mission is to empower individuals to reach their personal best, however they define it. I aid patients in this by employing a diverse array of movement-based exercise progressions, structured rehabilitation plans, manual therapy techniques including Biomedical Dry Needling, and fostering collaborative, creative thinking. Together, let’s unlock your full potential and elevate your daily experience.

After graduation, I have continued my education through courses and experience involving running injuries, occupational rehabilitation, vestibular treatment, concussion management, and dry needling. I believe in empowering people through education and active recovery with the goal of returning people to their daily activities, work, or sport as quickly as possible.

During my free time, you’ll find me out hiking, skiing, running, and biking. Some of you may recognize me as I was lucky enough to grow up in Jasper – I am very excited to again be a part of such a vibrant and caring outdoor community!
